This is us…

After two decades of an unlikely friendship, and countless adventures that seemingly fall into our laps, we decided that it is time to keep an account of all that has happened to us.

Otherwise no one would believe us anyway.

AN UNLIKELY LIKE-NESS is what we are. Two people who, under different circumstances may not have even been friends, somehow make the perfect recipe for unexpected adventures.

Though we love to travel and our list of places to visit is a long one, adventure does not necessarily mean traveling to foreign countries and doing exotic things. With the right person driving to the corner gas station is all the adventure you need.

Saying that “the journey is whats important” is un-original and overly simplified. But we have found that the only way to experience life is to enjoy the little things, to make a memory out of every moment, and always … to dance.

I love being curious and exploring the things that the world has to offer. I try to lead a positive life, and make the best of every situation. I’m not afraid to be silly and dance like no one is watching.  Lets face though, people are always watching.  

I’m the queen of overthinking, or just Sheba if you prefer.   I’m always up for pizza or perhaps an interpretive dance.

I like to think that I have a unique flair to add to life, but I also find myself in some unexpected situations.

So sit back and enjoy the hot mess that is my life.

Who am I? Well I could tell you some stories or provide you a history, but seeing as we are here to tell stories, I will let my experiences and adventures show you who I am. But I will tell you how I am. I am driven, I am curious, and above all, I feel the need to run.

When I say run I do not mean putting on some leggings and going for a jog, or even sprinting along a beach; I’ve never had the stamina, nor do my short legs have the stride.

When I say run I mean to escape, to fly, to soar. Always I feel the need for more.

How I am is a matter of will. A promise.

My promise is this:

Never to settle, always to soar. Never to waiver, and always to roar.
